I wasn't even 14 years old, but my passion for swords was already so strong that I got to know the weapons of different historical eras with the weapons expert of the National Museum.
I spent days under the spell of weapons. Historical fencing came almost naturally as a hobby, and at the age of 16 I made my first sword.
